The Tutoring Coordinator position is Open Until Filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team.

As a Full-Time Exempt Tutoring Coordinator, you will develop tutoring programs, activities, and procedures, and will provide support services that include but are not limited to timesheet processing, records, reports, supplies, and budget. This position will align their efforts with other department coordinators and college staff dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. Flexible work hours involving weekends and evenings occur in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree with four years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree, and two years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful project development and coordination.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience working with various staffing schedules.
  • Computer skills appropriate for record keeping, report writing, maintaining databases, and developing presentations.
  • Proven experience working with a diverse population of people, including building partnerships.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tutoring and tutoring program creation experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of teaching and/or practical classroom experience preferred. 
  • Experience with Canvas or other higher education software preferred. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple operations systems current to industry standards.
  • Proficiency with instructional and industry technology (i.e. word processing, email, online LMS, digital technology and social media applications).
