Description
We invite applications for postdoctoral researcher to conduct research aimed at advancing carbon cycle science and improving estimates of the carbon budget using satellite observations. The candidates will develop and apply an ensemble-based carbon data assimilation system coupled with the Community Earth System Model (CESM). The research is expected to focus on the carbon cycle and improving the representation of terrestrial carbon processes in the global climate model.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Earth Science, mathematics or equivalent. Knowledge of terrestrial carbon cycle science, data assimilation, large-scale modeling is preferred.
