Description | Hofstra University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite applications for an adjunct faculty position (adjunct instructor or adjunct assistant/associate/full professor) in the Department of Biology to teach introductory biology lab courses and potentially courses in microbiology, physiology, or cell biology beginning in the Spring 2024 semester The faculty member must be available for at least one to two hours of office hours per week and attend weekly lab instructors’ meetings. Teaching load is typically one or two courses per semester; maximum enrollment for a lab section is approximately 20 students. |

Salary/Salary Range | $1,387-$1,750 per credit |
Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
