Job Summary
Instruct assigned courses effectively. Participate in the development and review of the curriculum. Adjunct Faculty are hired on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Texas Medical Board General Radiologic Technologist license
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Commitment to diversity, academic excellence, and exceptional service
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of three years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology
Teaching experience
Knowledge of Canvas or other instructional technology
Essential Functions
Prepare and deliver instruction to students in accordance with the course syllabus and College policy
Provide regular and timely evaluation feedback to students
Post grades in Canvas in a timely manner
Assign grades consistent with course requirements
Submit final grades by the established deadline
Maintain HIPAA and FERPA standards
Communicate regularly with students and College officials, including responding to e-mails, calls, and requests for meetings
Participate in assessment
Cooperate with the program director in periodic review and revision of course materials
Maintain ARRT certification
Submit required reports and forms
Other duties as assigned

The ability to perform work in a classroom and office setting
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Use of manual dexterity
Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

Min Salary $560.00 per lab hour
Max Salary $825.00 per lecture hour
