SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a full-time Senior Staff Assistant in the Admissions Office. This position reports to the Director of Admissions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively with a diverse public and student population; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; maintain a recruitment territory, and have knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and programs that can affect admissions and enrollment of students; generate activity reports from the College database and other computer resources in response to internal and external requests for information. Domestic travel required.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Additional training and education in the applicable administrative field is desirable.
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working in an educational institution or in a related administrative function is desired.
Human Services experience or additional experience with any of the functional responsibilities of the position is preferred.
One (1) year of supervisory experience is required.
Additional Information:
The minimum salary for this position is $46,561.
