Position Summary

Teach one or more online sections of ART 103 beginning in Fall 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop/revise course syllabus, content, and activities in conjunction with the Liberal Arts Program Coordinator and teach one or more online sections of ART 103.

Minimum Qualifications

Education
Master's Degree in ART or 18 Master's level (or above) credits of ART coursework. 

Experience
Experience teaching art at the high school or college level in a hybrid or asynchronous format (preferably Blackboard or Blackboard Ultra). 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to teach the concepts of ART 103 by establishing a sense of community with students, inspiring an appreciation of the visual arts throughout history, responding to student requests for assistance in a timely manner, and replicating (as much as possible) the on-ground learning environment. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching ART at the high school or college level via an online learning management system (preferably Blackboard Ultra).
