About SUNY Broome Community College:

SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York.  The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs.  An additional 1,600 students are served through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.


Job Description:

The Biology Department of SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a dynamic adjunct instructor to teach a variety of courses in the biological sciences including:  Introductory biology, anatomy, and physiology.

Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.

Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.


Requirements:

Minimum educational requirement - Master's degree or equivalent graduate-level coursework in biology or a related field.


Additional Information:

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
