General Description
Niagara County Community College (NCCC) is seeking candidates for part-time Nursing Instructors to teach in clinical areas of fundamentals (nursing home) 6.5 hours per week, Ortho/Neuro 12.5 hours per week and Pediatrics 12.5 hours per week in a Registered Nurse Associate Degree Program.

Remuneration for this position will be: $884 per lecture hour/$792 per lab hour.

The clinical assignments will be held once per week either with a 6 hour lab or a 12 hour lab. This position is an exempt position and the compensation earned for the Fall 2023 semester would be $4,752 for a 6 hour lab or $9,504 for a 12 hour lab which would be the equivalent of $52 per hour.

Paid orientation to teaching, responsibilities will be provided. Individuals with current clinical proficiency and/or teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Selected candidates may apply when applicable for a possible scholarship to earn a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Nursing and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing. If candidate does not currently have a MSN must be either currently enrolled in a MSN program or intend on in enrolling within the academic year.
  • Recent (within 5 years) acute care experience.
Desirable Qualifications
Master’s of Science degree with a major in Nursing.
