About SUNY Broome Community College:

SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York.  The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs.  An additional 1,600 students are served through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.


Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a part-time adjunct instructor teaching in the Computer Science department.

A part-time adjunct instructor is needed for the Spring 2024 semester to teach the fundamentals of Virtual Reality (VR) including setting up and maintaining VR hardware and using 3D/2D game engines (Unity preferred, Unreal Engine) to develop VR applications (VR production) at SUNY Broome Community College.


Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required.  A Master's degree is preferred.

Teaching experience is preferred.

Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.


Additional Information:

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
