  • Director of Teens & Workforce Development

    Leadership Team

    Full-time / Non-Exempt


    Hours per Week: 40


    Salary: $18/hour


    Job Requirements:  High school diploma and some college required; associate's degree or higher preferred; willingness to work on weekends and late evenings; valid driver's license.


    Primary Functions: 

    • Creating a fun and engaging environment for teens
    • Planing and facilitating Keystone, Teen Nights, and workforce development programming in the Club and in the community of Richmond
    • Networking and creating relationships in the community
    • Recruiting teens to become Club members, including attending schools and events regularly to promote programming and Teen Nights
    • Responsible for operations and upkeep of The CLUB Teen Center
    • Supervising and interracting with youth daily

    Skills Needed: 

    • Ablility to recruit and retain a diverse group of teen Club members
    • Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with Club staff, volunteers, families, community, and other outside agencies
    • Basic computer prficiency: MS office, typing, email, social media
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and complete work unsupervised

  • Social Emotional Program Assistant

    Youth Development Staff 

    Part-time / Non-Exempt


    Hours per Week: 26


    Salary: $13/hour


    Job Requirements:  Associates Degree preferred in the field of human services

    (Education, social work, counseling, psychology, etc.) or equivalent required, or other experiences with children and youth which can serve as a basis for understanding trauma, behavioral challenges, and social emotional learning.


    Primary Functions: 

    • Assist Director of Social Emotional Learning in managing the SEL curriculum and related programs, data, and activities.
    • Facilitate Social Emotional Learning programing.
    • Track and report progress of programs to Director of Social Emotional Learning.

    Skills Needed: 

    • Ability to create developmental and age-appropriate activities pertaining to social emotional learning. 
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. 
    • Ability to teach others in a team environment.
    • Experience working with children preferred. Will receive certifications to conduct Social Emotional Programs and required youth development trainings.
