Job Description Summary
The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture & Aquatic Sciences (www.sfass.auburn.edu ) at Auburn University is seeking applications for an aquaculture production specialist. This is a 9-month, tenure track (80% research: 20% instruction) position and will be filled at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The projected start date is August 2024.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in aquaculture, engineering, or related field at the time employment begins, a publication record in aquaculture production research, and a record or the potential to attract extramural funding. The selected individual should be able to work cooperatively with colleagues across disciplines and develop collaborative research programs. The selected individual must also possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse audiences. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to be gainfully employed in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and to continue working legally for the term of employment.

Desired Qualifications
Desired qualifications: Postdoctoral training, a research area that complements existing School faculty, and experience mentoring graduate students are also considerations.
