Job Description Summary
The Western Wyoming Community College Aquatic Center is accepting applications for a student aquatic position. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks, for example:
1. Sitting poolside and watching the Preschool/Level one swimmers to make sure they are holding onto the wall and being safe so that the lifeguard can scan the entire pool.
2. Staffing the front desk and helping customers sign in which includes checking their IDs, passes, or collect money from the paying patrons.
Filing, Sorting, Copying
3. Answering phones, questions, taking messages
4. Assisting in errands on campus/special projects
5. Assisting in Emergency Action Plans
6. Must learn about swim program, swim schedules, etc.
7. Responsible for maintaining cash box; cash handling integrity required.
8. Other related duties.

This successful applicant will possess strong communication and public relation skills. Familiarity and patience with children is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
The applicant must be a student at Western Wyoming Community College who is eligible for a current award with the Federal Work Study Program. Work hours are contingent upon your current academic schedule. The duration of this position is contingent upon the Federal Work Study Program regulations.
