About the Team

The Digital Fulfillment team is a part of Digital Operations Organization, a group responsible for the Operations & Experience of Petco.com customers. Our team is dynamic and highly cross-functional, focusing on the processes driving fulfillment costs and customer satisfaction. This can include analyzing complex data to find hidden drivers of shipping costs, identifying opportunities to improve click-to-delivery, and creating experiments in inventory controls to enhance margin.

About the Candidate

We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our Digital Fulfillment team. The successful candidate will own metrics that drive improved delivery experience & decreased fulfillment costs.

The Senior Analyst will work closely with partners in Product, Store & DC Operations, Inventory, and Customer Care teams to provide data-driven insights that inform business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Analyst to join a dynamic team, make a significant impact, and contribute to the company's overall success through data-driven decision-making.

We would love to hear from you if you have a passion for data analysis, a strong understanding of SQL, and a track record of success in working with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

You will:

• Think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions, and present results to the organization

• Create and implement models to enhance order-sourcing algorithms.

• Derive key insights that drive network strategy with both quantitative and qualitative data

• Plan for day-to-day operations across the fulfillment network, partnering with Operations, Finance, and parcel carriers to meet demand needs

• Build KPI reporting for network, inventory, and operational performance. Monitor and make recommendations to appropriate teams when KPIs are not being met

Technical skills & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience working in a data analyst or business analyst role, preferably in supply chain analytics or marketing analytics related role.

• Very strong proficiency in SQL. Able to work independently to pull data across large databases.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Business skills:

• Superb written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to senior, cross-functional stakeholders

• Persistence and focus to drive results and continuous improvement.

• Proactive and inquisitive learner, seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances

• Strong organizational skills, time management, portfolio prioritization experience, and accountability required
