Rider University is seeking a Director of The Center for Diversity & Inclusion to join Academic Affairs. Reporting to the Chief Diversity Officer & Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, the Director serves as the primary lead in student diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership engagement. The Director of the Center for Diversity & Inclusion provides vision, leadership, and management for the physical space and programmatic outreach efforts that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for students on campus, supporting marginalized, underrepresented, and underresourced students and advancing intercultural competency for all students and serving as a resource for faculty and staff who are seeking to support diverse students and facilitate inclusive environments. Reporting directly to the Chief Diversity Officer, the Director will be central to developing a campus-wide approach to enhancing excellence through diversity and inclusion of students, faculty, staff, and the broader community, and provide the necessary planning, structure, leadership, and direction for the full execution of a campus-wide diversity program. |
