Job Description

MARKETING OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR 3, MIT Professional Education (PE), to collaborate with PE colleagues, program director/s, other staff, faculty, clients, and vendors in the delivery of world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Will be responsible for the administration of operations, including finance for PE marketing, in a dynamic and challenging environment.  Duties will include assisting with the development and implementation of marketing plans and communicating a marketing vision and strategy, and developing and managing the forecasts and budgets for PE marketing.  

MIT Professional Education, under the School of Engineering, offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of technology and engineering professionals globally.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; at least five years of marketing or communications experience; experience developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for marketing; experience with data and financial reporting and analysis; experience developing and managing vendor contracts; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and diplomacy, make sound judgments, assess information, and resolve problems; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced-level Excel skills; experience using various video conferencing applications; and working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.  PREFERRED:  experience in a marketing/communications role in a revenue-generating corporate and/or higher education environment, and experience in executive/professional education.  Job #23732-8
