Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MBA STRATEGIC OPERATIONS AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT, Sloan School of Management-Career Development Office (CDO), to assume a pivotal role focused on enhancing the MBA program through innovative strategic operational management, data analysis and insights extraction, and industry-specific content development.  Will be responsible for leveraging data and operational expertise to identify trends, streamlining systems and processes, extracting strategic insights, and identifying ways to improve the student experience and team experience at work; extracting and communicating (written, verbal, presentations, reports, infographics etc.)  insights to a wide variety of stakeholders, including the MBA Career Development team, CDO leadership team, faculty, and students; acting as project manager to align timing and deliverables for the MBA team’s seventeen-plus workstreams with a focus on advising, programming, employment data, career core/career foundations, communications, and student career interests data; developing and implementing systems and processes to execute a customized communication strategy tailored to the diverse needs and career paths of Sloan’s 800+ MBA/LGO/HKS students; and mapping student activities to outcomes, providing data-driven insights for continuous program enhancement and content development, and developing industry-specific content for students.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree in management, business, computer science, data analytics, or related field; five years of experience in operations, project management, and strategic planning within an academic or business setting; relevant experience analyzing and modeling large complex data sets and creating informative reports and dashboards; and strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.  Job #23733

Salary range:  $71,175 - 95,188 - 119,200, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.
