Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The position of Therapist at the University of Maryland is located in the Behavioral Health Clinic within the University’s Health Center. This position provides ongoing mental health services to the students of University of Maryland. These services include assessment of need, referrals, ongoing psychotherapy as well as triage and group therapy. |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duty/Responsibility (1): | Provides a wide range of social and mental health services to students including assessments, referral and psychotherapy, triage, and group therapy. Percentage (1): | 70% Essential Duty/Responsibility (2): | Works with administrative functions of the unit as needed. Engage With clients and other members of the campus community as needed to ensure excellent clinical care. Ensures best practices, protocols, and regulations are adhered to all times. Percentage (2): | 25% Essential Duty/Responsibility (3): | Other duties as assigned. Percentage (3): | 5% |
