Job Summary

The College is seeking an instructor or Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance.  Candidates must be able to contribute to both the BBA in Finance program and MBA program and should have broad competence in Finance with the ability to teach a variety of courses.  Candidates who bring experience, expertise, and/or specialization in corporate finance, investments, and financial modelling are most preferred.  Some experience in online teaching is beneficial but not critical.  Effective teaching skill must be demonstrated and is expected in both online and face-to-face classes.  
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Mentor undergraduate students.
  • Pursue a program of scholarly research and publication.
  • Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
  • Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the programs.
  • Contribute to the mission of the program and college.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should have a doctoral degree or be ABD in Finance or closely related field of specialization. Candidates who possess a graduate degree and extensive expertise in corporate finance, investments, and /or financial analysis and modeling will also be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. ABD candidates must be nearing completion. Expertise should be demonstrated through doctoral transcripts and/or professional experience.
