Duty/Responsibility | Educational Outreach – Initiate one-on-one developmental contact with residents and provide learning opportunities through educational outreach – Develop a sense of community within a residence hall – Provide innovative educational and social programs and initiatives in the hall – Promote the department’s four major learning areas through a curricular approach: Academics and Career, Inclusion and Equity, Involvement and Leadership, and Health and Wellness – Connect students with leadership opportunities – Promote staff/hall government unity – Write and distribute a bi-monthly newsletter – Participate in ongoing curriculum planning group |

Duty/Responsibility | Supervision: – Provide RAs with high quality individual guidance and training – Provide RAs with high quality group training and team building – Perform frequent, proactive assessments of staff |

Duty/Responsibility | Administration: – Manage occupancy and facilities issues within hall – Report and track facility concerns on a regular basis – Ensure that important procedures and policies (i.e. room chages, damage billing, etc) are accurately and effectively communicated to residents – Develop effective working relationships between your staff and the housekeeping staff – Implement an educational and expeditious conduct system in your hall – Manage hall council financial accounts and budgets – Meet all deadlines (i.e. database entry, paperwork, etc) |
