Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated "Network Engineer" to support the PMW-160 Tactical Networks In-Service Engineering Activity (TACNET ISEA). This is a fulltime position working out of our San Diego, California office.

The Network Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for U.S. Navy Network Management Systems utilizing Microsoft and Linux servers as well as routers and switches from various vendors.
You will provide support and expertise for Navy networks and associated systems during installation on-board U.S. Navy vessels and in a post-installation environment including remote support and troubleshooting.
Pay Range: $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
Travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
You Will:
- Assist in and lead C4I system software installations and upgrades.
- Perform software pre-loads, configurations, and operational testing of C4I systems to include, but not limited to, servers, workstations, routers, and switches.
- Provide distance support of C4I systems and networks installed aboard US Navy vessels. This support will include tier II/III remote support and troubleshooting to operational units worldwide.
- Provide on-site technical assistance to operational units worldwide.
- Research issues using available resources and advise customers on appropriate actions.
- Provide support and integration expertise for U.S. Navy network systems and associated systems during installations on-board Navy vessels.
- Provide support documentation and attend briefings/meetings.
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
- A CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
- Possession of and the ability to maintain an approved DoD IAT Level II Operating Environment certification.
- Certification Experience in TCP/IP and common protocols such as FTP, SSH SMTP, DNS, SNMP, and NTP.
- Experience in routing and switching (Cisco preferred).
- Experience in server and workstation administration. (Microsoft, VMware, or Linux preferred).

- A current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one within 45 days of employment.
Education/Experience:
- Five (5) years of technical experience in Network/Systems Administration and/or Network/Systems Engineering that clearly demonstrates a strong working knowledge of server and workstation administration, routing and switching in a distributed environment; and working knowledge and experience with virtualization.

- Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise System (CANES).
- Automated Digital Network System (ADNS).
- Secret Releasable (SR) / Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS).
- Experience with Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS) (ORT-Operation Rolling Tide).
- VMware ESX/i and vSphere.
- Experience with Remedy or other helpdesk ticketing system.
- Bachelors Degree in STEM field.
