Job Description Summary | Do you have experience caring for young children? LLCC’s Child Development Center is searching for a Child Development Assistant! This position will perform duties necessary to support the teaching and learning effort of the Child Development Center, including assisting teachers with implementing the daily activities; reporting health concerns to classroom teachers; assisting in maintaining a clean safe and healthy classrooms; helping monitor kitchen and classroom supplies; performing laundry duties; and preparing breakfast, supplements and catered meals. Child Care Development Assistants truly makes a difference in our community! As a staff member at LLCC’s Child Development Center, you can look forward to 7 paid holidays a year, paid winter break, 4-day work week in the summer for 12 weeks, 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and starting with 10 vacation days per year. LLCC staff, their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses. Staff can also enjoy free access to our on-campus fitness center. This is a grant-funded position. Funding for this position has been secured through September 30, 2024 . Starting salary is likely to be between $36,246 and $41,349 per year with an excellent benefits package.
