New Users

  • Click the Search Jobs link at the left or Search Job Opportunities by Category.
  • If you wish to apply for a job, click the Create Account link at left and then follow the instructions to complete and save your application.

Returning Users

Select Login, and enter your username and password.

This enables you to:

  • Search postings and apply for open positions
  • Review the status of your job applications previously submitted
  • Edit your existing account

Before Creating the Online Account - It is strongly recommended that you assemble the following information before beginning to complete the online application:

  • Educational information (dates attended, degree and semester hours completed)
  • Work history information - last 10 years
  • Professional reference information
  • Files for upload (Resume, CV, Transcripts; PDF, Word)

Before you begin - make sure you have everything ready to create a successful application. Please take a minute to collect the following information:

  • Dates of previous employment
  • Previous supervisors and/or HR names and email addresses
  • Minimum of 3 reference names, emails and phone numbers (required to submit your application.)

Applying for Open Positions - You must submit an application (and any required documents) by the Job Close Date shown on the job details for the position. An application is not complete until you submit all required documents and answer any supplemental questions. Please remember to review your application before it is submitted. You will receive a confirmation email once you complete and submit your application.

Applying for Adjunct Positions - Adjunct (part-time faculty) are hired on an as-needed basis, prior to, or during the start of each semester or term. All applications are received online and reviewed by applicable academic departments. Virginia's Community Colleges accepts applications for adjunct faculty employment on a continuing basis throughout the academic year. Whenever academic departments have a need, they will contact applicants. The hiring of adjuncts is the handled by each academic discipline.
