Job Description
This position will provide communication/marketing and administrative support to the Business and Community Education Division. Marketing duties include creating and maintaining list servs, using email marketing platforms, coordinating newsletters, creating press releases, assisting in flyers and creatives, and overall branding of the division. Administrative duties include support to the executive director and director by managing calendars, room reservations, communication with stakeholders, overseeing purchasing process/paperwork, managing MOU’s, providing high quality customer service, and other general duties.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in any field, preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • Typically, six months to 1 year of marketing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated by the ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors to provide excellent customer service and maintain working relationships.
  • Strong understanding and usage of technology and software programs.
  • Ability to pass a background check
