Summary of Position
Keene State College invites applications for a Redfern Audience Services Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the audience experience for Redfern Arts Center events, Theatre and Dance Department events, Music Department events, and Rental Client events. This is a part-time, non-benefited position, approximately 30 hours per week (depending on scheduled events) with a starting salary of $20.00 per hour.

The Audience Services Manager hires, trains, and supervises all staff, including students, related to House Management and Box Office operations. Additional duties include:
  • Maintaining State and Federal compliance of Crowd Manager Certification and training for all supervised staff, including students.
  • Maintaining PCI compliance of all Box Office operations, including certification and training for all supervised staff, including students.
  • Assisting with marketing efforts within the Redfern Arts Center via Face Book postings, Redfern website postings, and Ticket platform postings
  • Performing various administrative duties, including answering e-mail, attending staff meetings, and retreats, and participating in strategic planning.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in customer service or working with the public; supervisory experience; ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment; the ability to work a variable and flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; and the ability to spend significant portions of time on feet and manage going up and down stairs quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience in an academic setting; arts administration experience; and
CPR/First Aid certification. Additionally, the College has identified desirablequalifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring amulticultural perspective to the campus.
