Working at BASF and JDC is an opportunity like no other. Consisting of two complementary nonprofit, mission-driven organizations, our attorneys and staff are often on the front lines of the most pressing issues in our city, including housing, immigration, and criminal justice. We care about making a positive difference in the lives of others, and do so by giving our time, expertise, and care to all we serve.
Our main office is in a beautiful historic building in downtown San Francisco, with a satellite office in the Tenderloin neighborhood which houses our Homeless Advocacy Project. In addition, our staff works out of courthouses in San Francisco and Oakland, as well as other locations based on individual job roles.
