Essential Job Duties | The position will be responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities for any and all courses that may be assigned as needed or multiple sections of the same course may be required or assigned by the department. The courses are likely to be MA 114, 121, 131, 141, 241, or possibly 242. These courses are closely related to mathematics for science and engineering majors. For the Fall and Spring semesters, the Lecturer will have the opportunity to teach up to four courses (totaling a max of 8 courses for the academic year) as requested by the Assistant Department Head. For the Summer session(s), the Lecturer will have the opportunity to teach on an as-needed basis as requested by the Director of Summer School. |
