SUMMARY
Provides trade specific schedules. Performs outfitting work breakdown and sequencing based on established production rates. CAD system expertise with drawing creation and modification.Reports to Supervisor or Manager. Assist in planning and scheduling of work. Interfaces with Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning and Production groups. Works independently within broad objectives established by Supervisor or Manager.

Bachelors Degree in relevant technical, engineering or architectural subject.
Actively participates in implementing and monitoring improvement initiatives to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle time and reduce costs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work occurs in both an outdoor shipyard environment and in an office setting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Color determination, position requires the ability to distinguish color. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing. Requires ability to commute physically to various areas of the shipyard including but not limited to shipboard activities. Must be capable of ascending/descending stairs or ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, and transiting through manholes and other confined, congested spaces. Physical dexterity must allow for bending and reaching. Must remain alert and comply with all safety requirements. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed occasionally to dust, fumes, and smoke. Must be able to spend up to 50% of time in an outdoor shipyard environment in all climates. The noise level is relatively low to moderate in office environments. The noise level in the outdoor shipyard production environment is moderate to noisy 70% of time which may include sirens, horns, chipping, and hammering.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for the preparation, verification, and distribution of accurate and timely planning, budgeting, and reporting products, in accordance with department policy. Responsible for assisting department managers in implementation of policy.
Payscale:
$61,200 - $91,300
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
