General Summary
Sports Center Swim Instructors will lead private and group swim lessons for children and adults under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator.
Specific Position Duties
Sports Center Swim Instructors will be responsible for: 
  • Coordinating private and group swim lessons with the Aquatics Coordinator and their clients
  • Instruct any assigned classes
  • Ensure clients are safe during the lessons
  • Providing excellent communication skills
  • Being punctual, courteous and professional at all times with members  and participants
  • Teach participants how to swim to the best of their ability
Minimum Qualifications
Instructors must have a Swim Instructor certification, or be able to attain a Swim Instructor certification before beginning teaching
