Hours Per Week 6-12 hours per week
Work Schedule M-F, possibly Saturday

General Responsibilities
The HCC Mathematics Division values collaboration and teamwork. Candidates should expect to work closely with their course coordinator and follow guidelines set up by the coordinator.

Specific requirements of time, day and modality will be given for the specific semester needed as well as which courses need to be filled.
Work Performed
  • Adjunct faculty are expected to prepare, teach, and grade their students work in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete all required trainings
  • Some needs will be in the day while at other times it might be evening.
  • HCC offers courses that are Face-to-Face, Scheduled Remote, and Flexible Online.

  • Ability to use a wide variety of technology to teach mathematics is essential.
  • Masters degree is required.
