Job Responsibilities

The adjunct instructor for astronomy will be responsible for:

  •  teaching introductory and advanced courses in astronomy, 
  • developing course curriculum, lesson plans, and course materials, 
  • evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to help students succeed. 

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Master's Degree in Astronomy or Physics or a Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Astronomy or Physics

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience with both traditional and online formats
