EDUCATION
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or four (4) years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Hold Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Certification CSC, CI/CT or Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Certification Level, demonstrating strong receptive skills in interpretation and transliteration.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years experience working in a college or university setting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrate knowledge and practice of the Interpreter’s Code of Ethics and Deaf Culture
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assignments as needed
