About Norwich University:

Job Description:

Norwich University's College of Graduate & Continuing Studies seeks individuals qualified to develop and teach online graduate courses in accounting.   The program offers small class sizes tailored to the needs of adult learners. The program places great emphasis on a positive student experience and high student achievements.

The development of courses in all areas of accounting is needed, but there is an immediate need for development in the following areas:

  • Corporate/Entity Taxation
  • Forensic Accounting
  • Accounting Research and Communication


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a master's degree in Accounting (DBA, or PhD preferred);
  • Professional certification (CPA, CFE etc.) preferred;
  • Recent, relevant professional accounting experience in any sector

For course developers, recent experience developing online graduate courses for adult learners is preferred.  Course development is performed on a contract basis, as is online teaching. 

Norwich University provides training to new course developers and instructors.  Course developers work as part of a team that includes instructional designers and developers, media specialists, digital librarians, and academic program leaders.
