The working hours are Monday -Thursday from 4 -9:30 PM with a pay rate of $16 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

Provides administrative support independently and confidentially in the management of the Mount Pleasant Campus during evening classes and sets up experiments for Biology lab classes according to the lab schedule, including receiving and properly storing materials and equipment, maintaining an inventory of supplies, assisting in hazardous waste removal, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment for employees and students.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will have strong oral, written, and telephone communication skills. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and students is required. Excellent computer skills (keyboarding) and effectively managing computerized and word processing information systems. This position will perform multiple tasks in an academic environment and function in an environment characterized by continual technological changes with minimal supervision.
